Oliver Wright is a lawyer, trader and writer-producer. He grew up in California, Switzerland and Guatemala. He is a UCLA and Cornell Law grad. After living overseas, he worked in Southern California as a Corporate and Trial Lawyer at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. After Gibson he signed a book deal with Grove Atlantic (Cold Mountain, Black Hawk Down). Aside from writing and producing, he advises high net, private equity and institutional clients on distressed real estate and debt acquisitions, sales, trades and workouts. In addition to his forthcoming book–Screwed Shafted Burned Betrayed–Oliver has an underground hip hop album slated for 2010 release: Star Spangled Bangers features tracks with Grammy winner RBX, LMNO of the Visionaries, JFK of the Rhyme Sayers, Pace Wan, and other notables. Oliver has two dogs: Ramses the Famous Blue Pit and a Boston called PACO.
